Are you interested in guest blogging here at HoJo’s Teaching Adventures? That’s great! We are always looking for great content and/or freebies to share with our preK-6 audience.
Heather used to have a guest blogger every other week, but with life getting busier she now just takes guest posts if a good idea is pitched her way.
Evergreen posts that can be pinned any time of year will do well with HoJo’s followers!
What’s in it for you?
When you guest blog at HoJo’s Teaching Adventures, Heather shares your blog post across her Pinterest boards (over 34,000 followers) as well as various collaborative boards – some with as many as 100,000+ followers. Great evergreen content may be shared as often as once per quarter per board, and seasonal content may be shared each year going forward.
Your post will also appear on Heather’s Facebook page.
Heather may include your post in an upcoming newsletter (6,000+ subscribers).
Many previous guest bloggers have said they have seen traffic to their Teachers Pay Teachers store or blog from my site. This may result in more sales.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You do NOT have to have a blog to guest post! A great idea is all it takes to be considered as a guest blogger on HoJo’s Teaching Adventures. If you have never guest blogged before – don’t worry! Heather has helped walk numerous people through the process.
Blog posts should be at least 300 words in length. At least one vertical picture needs to be included, but more are welcome. One product link is permissible, but the post itself should not be a hard sale. There must be value within your post without the product included. Great ideas people can take and do right away are great, as well as freebies.
Please be aware that any post you submit for consideration on HoJo’s Teaching Adventures must be original and not appear on other sites.
Also – you must have full rights to all graphics, stock photos, and fonts you use within the post. If you’d rather I make the photos for you, that is an option as well. If you are creating the photos – you must include two. One needs to be 937 by 492 pixels (this way the formatting helps your post look great on HoJo’s main page!) and the second image should be twice as long as it is tall – which will make it great for Pinterest!
You can see examples of previous guest bloggers here.
If you have an idea in mind, contact HoJo!
Slots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If someone does back out of a slot, the next guest blogger may be moved up (or Heather may bump one of her own posts up – depending on the time of year and the content of the posts).
