These puzzles are meant to be somewhat of a challenge. Students will have to keep in mind the shape they are working on. (But if you choose to give them the “pre cut” no prep option, they will be even more challenging since they may not know what shape they are creating.) Tell students to rotate the pieces around until they fit and make an actual shape. This is where their critical thinking, analysis, and growth mindset skills will come into play!
