FREE First Day of School Printable

When my son’s teacher sent home an “about me” sheet on the night of open house telling us more about herself, I instantly knew what her gift was going to be on the first day of school. And that’s exactly where the idea for this FREE first day of school printable was born!

As you can tell in the image above, we affixed our tag to a Powerade and some blue suckers. But that is his teacher’s favorite. You could easily affix this “blue” FREE first day of school printable to a variety of items.

Who should I give this to?

Honestly, you can give this free first day of school printable to anyone you want. Depending on what you attach the note to (which we’ll get to in a minute), it could be used for –

• teachers
• students
• coworkers
• or use it as a bit of a “gag gift” for other parents in your life (because – let’s be real – many parents are doing the dance of joy as they drop their kiddos off on that first day! 😉 )

“Blue” Items

• make cookies and add some blue coloring or blue frosting (this recipe looks super simple!)
• blue Powerade or Gatorade
• donuts with blue frosting
• blue suckers
• blueberry muffins
• blue sunglasses 
• anything else you can think of!

You could even go with an entire “blue theme” and put a full spread out in the teachers’ lounge. Serve blue chips with cheese. Or blue cheese with crackers. Don’t forget the blueberry muffins! Or some type of blue juice. Even something as simple as Dove chocolates in the blue wrappers.
