Reindeer Math Activities

I’m not sure there’s anything much cuter than a little reindeer face. That’s why I’m happy to share these adorable reindeer math puzzles with you and your students. Academically challenging, yet so much fun, these puzzles offer your students a great opportunity to practice any math skill you wish. Yet the end goal for your students is to assemble a sweet little reindeer face – complete with antlers. These puzzles are so fun, students barely notice they are learning!

There are puzzles that cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Each puzzle offers two options for the level of difficulty you need. This means you can easily challenge your quick learners while making sure that no one is left behind.

You can use these puzzles individually or in groups. Offer them to your fast finishers or make a whole class project out of them. These puzzles are fun enough to include on the day of your winter class party, yet your students still get some math work in. Sneaky! And once assembled, students love to color their puzzles and show them off to friends and family.

Make Your Own Reindeer Puzzles

While my math reindeer puzzles are wonderful teaching tools, I understand that you may wish to teach other things to your students. Puzzles are some helpful teaching tools, I created an Editable Reindeer Puzzle you can use to teach any topic.

Use these reindeer puzzles to practice sight words, nouns, verbs, and other English skills. Or use them as a fun way to teach kids all about reindeer. (Like, did you know that reindeer and caribou are two names for the same animal?) These puzzles are as inspiring as the Christmas season!
