Turning Basic Shapes into ART
The Frankenstein, spider, ghost, and tombstone below were all made from basic shape tarsia puzzles. The awesome thing about buying these basic shapes is you can use the puzzles ANY time of year to create a variety of shapes.
Frankenstein was made with one rectangle tarsia puzzle and black construction paper to free hand the hair, eyebrows, mouth, and bolt ears. His eyes came from this free download.
The spider was made with one oval tarsia puzzle. I then used black construction paper to free-hand the legs and the eyes were from this free download.
For the ghost, I used an oval tarsia puzzle but then removed row. Black construction paper was used to free-hand the mouth and eyes.
The tombstone was made with a rectangle tarsia puzzle. I then rounded the top two corners and wrote RIP in black sharpie.
