These Idioms Magic Square Puzzles are great activities for a literacy center game. They provide a great way to get students a hands-on, engaging critical thinking game for extra practice. Plus this literacy center activity is a quick and easy way for teachers to provide meaningful learning that meets the needs of upper elementary or middle school students!
Each puzzle asks students to match 24 pictures to the correct idiom phrase.
The puzzles are a PDF download. You will NOT be able to edit or modify the puzzles.

You get three PDF puzzles where students match the picture of an idiom to the word. Then each of the three puzzles has TWO versions – one with words around the outside to provide more of a challenge and one without to be a bit easier. Choose which make sense for your class, or differentiate to meet individual needs.
This means the entire resource is made up of six puzzle options! You’ll have to decide which to print to best meet the needs of your students.
